Tatum - Recently refurbished historic wedding venue Wellington - Libby and Pani

Libby and Pani - high school sweethearts, cat parents (my kind of people), homeowners and now... husband and wife! 💍 Getting to know these two was such an honour in the lead up to their day and we are so grateful to have captured both photos and video for them!!

This was our my first time at Tatum since it was recently renovated, the accommodation is really nice and there were plenty of great spots. Their video is by my husband Karl, photos by me!

Jenna and Aaron kept their day intentional, making the most of the important things - being with family, spending time with the people they love, while enjoying incredible food and the amazing view seen from Boomrock.

Martinborough Tree Church Wedding Photos - Grace and Jarrod

Mr & Mrs Watson! 🤍 It was such an honour to photograph Grace and Jarrod’s engagement in 2022 and more recently their wedding at Martinborough Tree Church.

There are a few things from their day that I look back on as a highlight! Grace got ready at her family’s farm in the Wairarapa which felt really sentimental for me as I grew up in a rural area also. She found her dress while visiting family in Australia (with the help of her Grandma) from @luvbridal. Their bridesmaid Emma made their wedding cake, big shout out to @rainbirdscakes! Grace’s cousin designed their invites and save the date cards, her page is @dolly.and.moo and she also sang their first dance song (a very talented lady). All of their wedding signage was designed by Grace herself. Every little detail was curated perfectly as Grace loves designing and has a background working in events. There were so many amazing people within their family who helped make their day happen with all these special touches.

Anam Cara Gardens, Kapiti Coast wedding venue review - Georgia and Hayden

Anam Cara Gardens is one of our favorite venues in the Kāpiti Coast and we love when clients book us for photos and videos here!! The venue is spread across 10 acres of serene garden settings, includes an indoor venue and two separate spaces for getting ready making it the perfect venue with everyone on site for your day. Their venue has a capacity for up to 120 guests, and includes a modern commercial kitchen for caterers and a bar for BYO. Pick from 6 different ceremony locations and many areas for photos, including the beach which is only a short drive away for sunset photos.

Teresa and Tim are so great to work with as the venue’s owners and hosts, we can wholeheartedly recommend their venue to all of our couples. Here is a recent full-day wedding that I photographed at Anam Cara in January 2024. This was an 8 hour package, which included a second photographer for 4 hours*. We covered Georgia and Hayden’s preparations through to their first dance and sunset photos (although on this occasion we didn’t get much of a sunset down at Ōtaki Beach but we still took the opportunity to head out for 15 minutes). The examples here show parts of the full day, it is a longer blog post to scroll through but I hope it shows couples the variety of images they can receive from a wedding of this size. Ohariu Farm Wellington Wedding - Abbey and Anthony
